It’s only been a couple weeks since I first heard of Chloe Moriondo and already their coming out with new music. I guess that’s the perk of being late to the party to discover a new diva. Chloe’s new Blood Bunny Acoustic EP is a perfect marriage of their first album Rabbit Hearted’s strumming instrumentation with the hard-hitting pop vibe of their recent album Blood Bunny.
I’m a sucker for a good acoustic revamp and this EP is everything a good one should be. It may only be four Bad Bunny reworks at just over twelve minutes but it has great musicianship, it focuses mainly on Chloe’s vocals, and it enhances the songs in new inventive ways.
I may have been late to the Chloe party but I’m enjoying the stay. It’s their pure and natural voice that first drew me in and this EP really shines a light on their vocals making this EP a great addition to their discography, at least in my gay opinion.
