Whenever I do a music post, I choose my favorite song off the EP or album, throw it on this playlist and don’t revisit it until the end of the year. It’s fun to hear all my favs put together and how they work together, and this year, they seem to meld.
Also, each year a theme unveils itself and this year was acting divas who also sing. Nico Tortorella started the trend, Kate Hudson quickly jumped on board, and Paris Hilton followed. I learned Tiffany Haddish has some singles, as well. This year also had divas dropping multiple albums, EPs or singles. Wild Fire and Donna De Lory had full albums early on with holiday singles at the end, Abigail Osborn dropped a few EPs, and Twinnie and Griff started out with EPs whose songs turned into full albums.
I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane, as much as I do. In my gay opinion, 2024 was a great year for music and I look forward to what 2025 has to hold.
